I did not even hear about this ‘abortion punishment’ until now. There is too much news, and the cycle keeps getting faster and faster. I think that your closing paragraphs paint a fair picture — there is always another shooting, another Tweet, another ridiculous incident, to the point where I cannot keep up anymore.
