A good synopsis and statement on He Jiankui’s announcement of CRISPR-modified and implanted embryos.

Clearly the scientific consensus is out that this is wrong. It is clearly time, now, to develop and implement regulations to avoid this type of behavior in the future.

It is great to condemn and all, but without action, this will happen again. CRISPR is just too easy to use.
